Vocations Screening Committee

The Vocations Screening Committee is composed of thirteen individuals--priests and lay people--who meet to review a potential candidate for the seminary. These individuals screen the candidate for about forty-five or sixty minutes and then write a recommendation to the Bishop based upon that screening. The Bishop makes a decision to accept or deny the particular candidate based upon this recommendation in conjunction with other documents.
