Matt works for the Diocese of Madison as the Coordinator of Marriage & Family. He earned his Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Russian Language & Literature from UW-Madison, and later his Master's in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining the Diocese, Matt worked at Blessed Sacrament Parish as the Director of Liturgy and Evangelization. He particularly enjoyed developing relationships with parishioners there and having one-on-one conversations about the spiritual life and the lay apostolate. Focusing now on marriage and family, Matt looks forward to supporting those who have been called to this vocation and building up the Church one domestic church at a time. His wife, Caitlin, is a Family Medicine physician at Access Community Health Centers, and they have four children: Eli, Abram, Catherine, and Margaret.
