Glenn Schusterreceived his Bachelor of Music Degree in both Organ Performance and Music Education from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota and his Master of Music Degree from Vandercook College of Music, Chicago, Illinois. He has continued his graduate studies in Church Music and organ at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He studied organ with Hugo Gehrke, Ruth Berge, Miriam Duncan, Dr. John Chappell Stowe and Dr. Kathy Handford. His choral-conducting teachers have been Dr. Paul J. Christianson, Dr. L. L. Fleming, and Dr. Dennis Northway.
He is currently organist for the cathedral liturgies in the Diocese of Madison, assistant conductor/accompanist of the Madison Diocesan Choir and a 3 - 5 Music Specialist with the Sauk Prairie School District. He is in demand as a choral festival conductor, clinician and adjudicator for solo and ensemble festivals throughout the state. He has worked in several area churches and traveled with the Diocesan Choir, playing the organ in Spain, Ireland and Italy. He has been President of the Madison Area Church Musicians Association and a clinician for the National Chorister's Guild Conferences.
