Praise the Lord! It looks like you are interested in learning more about Love Begins Here, and you have come to the right place. As updates come and there is news to be shared, those sources will help keep you in the loop.
Even though it seems like next summer will be here before we all know it, let's take a look back at some of the highlights from the past couple of summers to see where we have come as the LBH family.
Love Begins Here launched on June 21, 2009. That summer, we had 56 missionaries take to the streets of the Madison Diocese.After fifteen years of growth and guidance from the Holy Spirit, nearly 600 missionaries served on LBH trips in 2023.To this date, Love Begins Here has given over 150,000 hours of service to those in need - materially and spiritually - in the Madison Diocese.
While those statistics are incredible and the Lord has blessed us abundantly, it is even more exciting to recall the changes we have seen in the hearts of the young people who have joined us.LBH is incredible! While work along is little but a chore, LBH adds in faith and friends, turning it into one of the greatest experiencese I could ask for! - Elijah, 3rd Year Missionary
