Goals for the Day
To give Bishop Hying an opportunity to express his gratitude and appreciation for the tireless efforts of all those who have been involved with GMD in parishes.
To give us all an opportunity to be refreshed and reinvigorated for ongoing missionary activity.
To give parishes an opportunity to share encouragement, ideas, struggles, and success stories for the edification of all.
To spend time together in prayer asking God to lead and guide our activities and to bless our humble efforts with great fruits of conversion for the salvation of souls. -
Schedule for the Day
11:00. Arrival and introductions.
11:15. Catechesis on the meaning of Pentecost by Bishop Hying.
11:45. Lunch: Flame-grilled in honor of the Holy Spirit who descended upon the disciples in tongues as of fire!
12:45. Sharing success stories from Phase 2: How have you seen the Holy Spirit at work?
1:30. Looking ahead to Phase 3: The lay vocation for apostolic mission in the world.
2:30. How to pray effectively for apostolic mission.
3:00. Holy 1/2 Hour of Adoration for intentions of conversion and evangelization.
3:30. Benediction and dismissal.
