Bless Our Priests

Like all of us, priests work hard - they dedicate their lives to furthering the mission of the church, bringing people closer to Christ. It is only right they are cared for with the dignity and respect they deserve. Today, our priests rely on the St. Raphael Society Clergy Retirement Fund to help support their retirement. Like many retirement plans, the Diocese of Madison is facing unprecedented challenges-similar to those of Social Security. With the increasing number of priests nearing retirement, we need the support from all Catholics in providing for our senior priests of today and tomorrow. Many continue in active ministry well after retirement age.

The Bless Our Priests collection is the only annual collection for retired priests of the Diocese of Madison.  This fund raising campaign will benefit just the retired priests of the Diocese of Madison and is not to be confused with the National Retirement Fund for the Religious collection (RFR) which supports religious order nuns and priests.  Diocesan priests do not receive funds from the National RFR collection.
