Welcome to the Office of Human Resources in the Diocese of Madison

The Office of Human Resources provides benefits management, compensation, legal compliance, recruiting, and employment assistance, and other employee services for the various offices of the Diocese of Madison, the Bishop O’Connor Catholic Center, and the Department of Cemeteries.

The Office of Human Resources also provides services to the pastors and parishes within the Diocese in the areas of employment assistance, job postings, compensation, benefits, employee relations, policy development, job descriptions, assistance with compliance issues, and other HR-related matters.  Human Resources also reviews and approves the background checks for all employees and volunteers for the diocesan offices, as well as for those of the parishes and schools within the Diocese.

Job openings that are available to outside applicants may also be listed in the weekly Catholic Herald. For current postings on this site, click here.

Each parish and school within the Diocese handles their employment independently. If there are parishes or schools within the Diocese that are of particular interest to you, you may wish to contact them directly regarding any current or future job opportunities they may have.

For employment opportunities in the Catholic Schools of the Diocese, please contact schools@straphael.org for information regarding application procedures for teaching and principal openings.

If you have questions or need assistance, contact John Miller, Director, at 608-821-3047.
