Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum
The Office of Catholic Schools, Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin seeks an educational leader to aid in ensuring excellence in faith and academics in Catholic schools in the Diocese. The director of instruction is accountable to the Superintendent of Schools with whom s/he works to implement the strategic plan, focusing on areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development for teachers and administrators. We seek a leader with a passionate commitment to Catholic education to help promote and advance Catholic identity and academic excellence. A qualified candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing with prior curriculum and assessment experience beyond the classroom, outstanding communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency using technology, a high level of organization, and experience using data to inform decisions. Candidates should hold an earned graduate degree in education, curriculum and instruction or administration and a Wisconsin license for Curriculum Director (#10). Prior administrative experience in Catholic schools is required.
